Overview

Our client, a long-standing, sustainability-driven architecture practice, is seeking a motivated and driven Architect to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects under the guidance of an Associate Architect or Company Directors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality production information, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and consultants, and ensuring the timely progression of projects.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Architect, you will be involved in managing and delivering design packages from RIBA Stage 1-5. You will oversee day-to-day operations of your assigned tasks, ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard within set deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the design process and overseeing day-to-day project operations
  • Collaborating with Directors and external consultants to produce full design packages
  • Ensuring all work complies with company standards and regulations
  • Engaging with Local Authorities and managing planning documentation
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely project delivery
  • Assisting with the production of detailed specification documents and construction drawings
  • Reporting on project progress to Directors and addressing any delays or issues
  • Supporting site coordination, responding to technical queries during construction

About You

This role is ideal for RIBA Part 3 qualified Architects with at least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience. You will be:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM
  • Experienced in managing design and procurement processes
  • Skilled in technical detailing and risk management
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Able to manage client relationships and coordinate project teams effectively
