We are seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to ensure 100% compliance in Fire Risk Assessments within our property portfolio.Location: Nottingham- Beeston areaSalary: £47,202 - £49,686Function/Team: Compliance & Technical ServicesReports To: Technical & Enforcement LeadAgile Working Options: YesDBS Check Required: Yes (Basic)Driving licence Required: YesKey Responsibilities:* Conduct thorough Fire Risk Assessments and site surveys following PAS 79 methodology.* Identify and communicate fire risks clearly, ensuring accurate reporting of remedial actions.* Provide technical fire safety advice to colleagues and external organisations.* Oversee the implementation of remedial works and ensure they meet recommended time frames.* Collaborate with the Fire Brigade and other external parties on fire safety matters.* Support the development of a strong fire safety culture within the organisation.What You Bring:* A minimum of 3 years' experience in fire safety, conducting assessments in diverse premises such as residential blocks, care facilities, and community centres.* Strong knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and relevant fire safety legislation.* Tier 2 accreditation via IFSM and a valid fire safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IFE).* Excellent communication skills to effectively relay fire risks and safety practises.* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own time efficiently.
