GI Group are recruiting for Warehouse operative /Stock control Assistant to join our very busy client located in Nottingham NG15.Role OverviewYou will be required to carry out a range of activities to support the accurate management of Goods Receiving, Inventory Control and Dispatches. You must be able to work in a small team, in a fast paced environment.Key Responsibilities and accountability.* To check goods received against supplier delivery notes, and notify the relevant people of any discrepancies* Receive goods onto the SAP Business One system to ensure the online stock levels stay up to date* Be able to locate and store parts into correct stock location and make these easily identifiable * Keep the area safe and tidy, including the way items are stored on shelves* Issue parts to the Workshop as requested* Pick and pack outgoing goods securely and efficiently * Create courier labels and shipping manifests* Ensure nothing leaves the building without the correct paperwork* Carry out regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy* Safely and efficiently load and unload vehicles, with the use of a Fork Lift Truck* Carry out branding / packaging tasks on stock* Will involve occasional collections from local supplier, using the company van* Pick Production Work Order for the Workshop* Pick Parts for In-House Repairs TeamKey Personal Skills* Be reliable and have a good attitude towards work* Have the ability to work in a team * Have strong communication skills* Have basic IT skillsOur expectations from you* Previous experience in a warehouse environment* The ability to work in a fast paced environment* Forklift Truck Licence Preferred* UK Driving Licence Preferred* Previous Experience with Business Management Software (Booking in of parts, Dispatching of goods.Working Hours* Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm* 60 Minutes lunch breakTo apply either call us on or apply online and one of our team will be in touch
