We are hiring! Aspirare is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician in Edinburgh to join a leading Facilities Management team. In this role, you will deliver professional and reliable electrical services to a range of commercial properties across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across multiple client sites.

Electricians Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Conduct both planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on commercial sites, including lighting, power, and fire alarm systems
  • Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Reporting & Documentation: Accurately log work activities using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to deliver a high-quality and timely service

Electricians Requirements:

  • 17th or 18th Edition Certification: Required to meet current electrical standards
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in Facilities Management or Building Services is highly advantageous
  • Recognised Apprenticeship: Must hold an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
