We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established operation in Newbridge.
The position offers a competitive pay rate of £15.28 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits such as paid holidays and pension contributions.
Drivers will work full-time hours with regular start times at either 7:30 AM or 10:30 AM, on a shift pattern of 5 days over 7.
Candidates should possess a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and ideally have previous Class 1 driving experience.
This role requires a reliable and professional attitude, along with good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.

Shift Details:

Start Times: 7:30 AM or 10:30 AM
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including potential weekend work on rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately
Following all transport legislation and company procedures
Providing a high standard of customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
