Machine Operatives Required
Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a new opportunity? We have a fantastic position available for a Machine Operative at our busy manufacturing site in Newport.
We produce a range of plastic products, from household items like washing-up bowls and dustpans to industrial buckets for the construction industry. This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key part of our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading raw materials into machines.
- Performing quality checks on finished products.
- Trimming and assembling products, including adding handles and lids.
- Loading pallets to specific quantities.
- Wrapping and storing pallets using a pump truck.
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Must be be able to drive to site
Shift Pattern & Location:
The role starts on a day shift for the first few weeks, then moves to a permanent 4-on, 4-off, 12-hour shift pattern: 2 days (6am - 6pm) followed by 2 nights (6pm - 6am).
The position is based at Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate, Newport, NP11 4EG.
