This role will be a temporary position to cover a period of Maternity leave. Your role as the Accounts Assistant will be to support with all aspects of Accounts Payable, Receivable, Reconciliations and some support with month end as well.

They are easy to work with and have an open and supportive team that will help support and train you with any elements you may not have covered.
Description
The key duties of the Accounts Assistant will be:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
Profile
The ideal Accounts Assistant will be someone who can commute to the Newbury area and who has experience within a similar, rounded Accounts role. Ideally in a business where you have supported a small team in many areas of Bookkeeping.
