In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of our products and services. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Become familiar with our main products and capabilities to present a confident and trusted interface with customers.
  • Understand contractual obligations and delivery terms for individual projects.
  • Schedule work for our development, testing, and systems administration teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor progress with individuals, costs, and time spent on projects.
  • Review and monitor outstanding support calls.
  • Liaise with customers and business partners, keeping them informed of the status of developments.
  • Support and attend/chair internal and customer project and service reviews.
  • Track project progress through all stages, including administrative steps such as quotes, POs, invoicing, and payment.
  • Provide management information regarding progress.
  • Support the sales process including assessment of work requirements, product demonstrations, and preparation of quotation/bid documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree level education or equivalent working experience, with excellent English and Maths skills.
  • Previous experience in an operations administration role, ideally with some experience of managing software projects.
  • Experience of leading/supervising a team of technically skilled professionals is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent keyboard skills and a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is advantageous, as is experience in preparing bids and tender responses.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Highly organised, self-motivated individual with the ability to grasp technical concepts and quickly reprioritise tasks.
  • High level of organisational skill, logical and precise thinking.
  • Ability to produce very high-quality output with outstanding attention to detail and consistency.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with a wide variety of responsibilities.
  • Ability to drive progress on multiple tasks simultaneously.
