About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth across the South West of England. Representing our high-quality furniture solutions, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our presence in key sectors such as commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential.

This is a field-based role ideal for someone with a passion for design, a strong sales track record, and the ability to work independently across a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow market share across the South West.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with architects, interior designers, contractors, and end-users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and proposals that align with client needs and design preferences.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to promote the brand and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the furniture, interiors, or design industry.
  • Strong understanding of furniture products, materials, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a regional territory independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the South West.
Desirable:
  • Existing network within the South West design or construction community.
  • Experience with bespoke or high-end furniture solutions.
  • Knowledge of sustainable furniture practices and certifications.
