A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher has arisen at a wonderful primary school based in Newbury. The opportunity is to build your classroom experience as a teaching assistant for one year before successfully completing your primary school teacher training. The start date for this position will be ASAP. Ideally and will require someone who can commit for a minimum of one year. The teaching assistant will be working with both a Year 2 and a Year 4 class as a general classroom support assistant.

The primary school are looking for a teaching assistant that is graduated to a degree level, either undergraduate or masters level ideally. Additionally the primary school are looking for someone with some experience working with children previously - this may include previous work as a teaching assistant, tutoring, youth work or special needs experience.
