Independent Financial Adviser – Newbury (Employed Role, Full Client Bank Provided)

A progressive, client-focused, financial planning-led wealth management firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Independent Financial Adviser to join their growing team in the Newbury area. This is a full-time employed position, offering immediate access to a ready-made client bank of high-net-worth (HNW) individuals requiring ongoing advice and service.

Salary up to £80,000 - Earning potential circa £120,000 

In addition to servicing an existing portfolio, the Adviser will be encouraged and supported to develop new client relationships and revenue opportunities, with full infrastructure in place to ensure success.

Role Overview:

The Adviser will work closely with a prestigious client base to understand their evolving financial goals and deliver clear, tailored strategies designed to build long-term financial security. The firm offers flexibility with home-based/remote working, access to local office facilities, and an expectation of attending face-to-face client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and manage a substantial client bank of HNW clients, delivering exceptional ongoing advice and relationship management.

  • Identify opportunities for additional advice and revenue generation, supporting clients' wider financial planning needs.

  • Develop new business opportunities through personal networking, referrals, and firm-supported marketing initiatives.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers through regular, proactive communication and meetings (in-person and virtual).

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients’ financial circumstances and produce high-quality financial planning reports across all advice areas.

  • Provide timely, accurate management information as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent) and maintains CF30 status.

  • Demonstrates a strong client-first mindset with polished interpersonal skills and a professional, credible approach.

  • Confident with using technology and virtual communication tools to support client engagement.

  • Experienced in managing HNW relationships and identifying broader planning opportunities.

  • Motivated to build new relationships while providing outstanding service to an established client bank.
