- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards.
- Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to upskill in-house operatives.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and safety protocols.
- Engage with site teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Report directly to the Group Health & Safety Manager, providing updates and recommendations.
- Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety role within social housing or planned maintenance sectors.
- Strong background in supporting operational teams in field-based environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate site personnel.
- Digital skills to produce reports, analyse data and engage with new software.
- An interest in the law and regulations surrounding the workplace.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the designated region, relevant driving licence.
- Relevant industry relation qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, Relevant Degree or HND.
- Knowledge of The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974Â
