- Design & Engineering: Produce detailed engineering drawings (GA, fabrication), perform pressure vessel calculations, and ensure compliance with ASME, PD5500, PED, and related codes.
- Project Execution: Manage post-order tasks to meet deadlines, budget constraints, and contractual requirements while maintaining target margins.
- Team Leadership: Support task allocation and progress monitoring for junior engineers, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Technical Support: Resolve manufacturing challenges, engage with customers/fabricators, and conduct site visits for field measurements and solutions.
- Documentation & Systems: Maintain SAP entries, bills of materials, and engineering records in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance design methodologies.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of pressure vessel design experience, including ASME VIII Div1/2, PD5500, and PE(S)R.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Expertise in structural calculations for pressure vessels.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to obtain UK security clearance.
- Experience with PV Elite, ANSYS Mechanical (FEA), or SAP.
- Familiarity with EN13445 and ASME B31.3 codes.
- Background in drawing management (Autodesk Vault).
