Operations Administrator

We are seeking an Operations Administrator to join a dynamic and friendly team within a fantastic company based in Newbury. This office-based role offers a great opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and organisational skills to contribute to the efficiency of our operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Allocate incoming service calls to field service engineers, ensuring customer SLAs are met and engineer productivity is maximised.
- Review progress of work throughout the day, making continual adjustments to prioritise high priority calls while balancing the completion of lower priority works.
- Optimise engineer routes to follow a logical geographical path, reducing travel time and maximising job completion.
- Make judgements on reassigning work or deploying subcontractor resources to achieve objectives.
- Provide first-line technical support to customers before logging service calls.
- Manage follow-up service calls requiring a second visit to achieve resolution.
- Analyse and process customer enquiries and coordinate installation and commissioning works.
- Manage variations and process orders, deliveries, installations, returns, credits, and debits.
- Ensure swift completion of invoicing and payment, and manage stock with communication to UK & European warehouses.
- Handle purchase ordering of stock.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong administration, time management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and without daily management.
- Capacity to work under pressure in a changing environment.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport with colleagues and customers.
- Proficiency in computer and database usage; SAP user skills are desirable.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and responsibility for fine details.
