CMA are currently involved with bolstering the finance department and one of their requirements is an Accounts Assistant.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • Owning the Accounts Receivable invoicing process for UK companies and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Processing Accounts Payable for UK companies and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Supporting the preparation of the weekly payment proposal in collaboration with management.
  • Ensuring timely processing and payment of employee expenses.
  • Maintaining accurate sub-ledger accounts for each company.
  • Assisting in intercompany reconciliation by managing AP & AR reconciliations with overseas entities.
  • Implementing best business practices and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

  • Strong transactional processing experience.
  • Experience in an international group or multi-site company dealing with FX transactions/revaluations.
  • Capable of making decisions and providing professional support independently.roficient in systems and IT operations, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude towards change management.
  • Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and demonstrate continuous improvement.
