About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Newbury. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with varying needs.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
- A genuine interest in education and student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
