We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with electrical experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD or other design software. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to support the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems across a range of projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for electrical installations, layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Support engineers in the design and modification of electrical systems for projects across commercial, industrial, or residential sectors.
- Interpret technical specifications, engineering sketches, and mark-ups into accurate CAD models and drawings.
- Update and maintain drawing records, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Experienced required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); knowledge of other design packages such as Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is desirable.
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within the electrical engineering or building services sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and technical drawings.
