Job Title: Accounts AssistantLocation: Newcastle-Upon-TyneRemuneration: £13.51 per hourContract Details: Temporary (May 12, 2025 - July 10, 2025)
Responsibilities:Join our vibrant team of 7 MEC accountants and dive into the exciting world of finance! Your key responsibilities will include:
Processing accounting entries through requests in our Journal Entry Solution.Completing relevant validations to ensure compliance with our accounting standards.Collaborating with teammates to efficiently manage a high volume of requests while maintaining 100% compliance.Communicating effectively through various channels: face-to-face, email, or Teams.
Full training will be provided to ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed!
What We're Looking For:
A proactive approach to tasks and a knack for managing high volumes of requests.Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.Existing skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Teams) are a plus!
Working Pattern:
Full-time hours, approximately 8 am - 4 pm (some flexibility can be offered once trained).Hybrid working arrangements are expected once training is complete.
