Join Our Client as a Building Receptionist!
Are you an enthusiastic and friendly individual with a passion for exceptional customer service? Our client is seeking a dedicated Building Receptionist for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in the vibrant area of Gosforth.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Monday 19th May (training provided for the first 2 weeks)
- Hourly Rate: 12.75
- Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Shifts will vary between 08:00-16:30 and 09:30-18:00
- Free parking available onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-class customer service to all building guests and occupiers.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to exceed client expectations.
- Provide effective administrative support and guidance at the point of inquiry.
- Assist the Building Manager with front of house management and tenant liaison.
- Support the programming of events, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Meet and greet visitors, manage access control passes, and ensure security is maintained.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Conduct quality checks of common areas and liaise with cleaning staff to maintain high standards.
- Be flexible in working hours to cover for colleagues during holidays or absences.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a self-managed Receptionist/Front of House or customer service role.
- Basic understanding of the Property Management industry.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional standards of customer service.
- Confident and outgoing personality with a professional outlook.
- Excellent IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and Outlook; familiarity with Building Management Systems is a plus.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
