Business Development Representative

Salary: £30,000 + car allowance + LTIP + OTE of circa £50,000 uncapped in year 1

Location: Newcastle

My client, based in Newcastle, is in the technology space and is embarking on a period of sustained and aggressive growth, spearheaded by the appointment of an industry recognised Commercial Director, and backed by a well-funded established parent company.

They are seeking an emerging sales talent, who wants to be nurtured, developed and grow their sales career at pace to help them expand their North East client base.

The Role

  • Identifying new sales opportunities via both desk and field-based activity
  • Developing and nurturing your own leads
  • Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
  • Managing the sales process end-to-end, including commercial negotiation
  • Providing first class customer-focused approach
  • Attending conferences and networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business
  • Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales
  • Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects

The Person

  • Experience of new business sales activity and looking to take the next step in your sales career. An individual with SDR pedigree would be well suited
  • Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • Ambitious to develop your career
  • Access to a car until you qualify for a company car
