Castlefield Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor for a permanent position with a North East based Housing Association.
The salary for this role ranges from £38,000 to £42,000, depending on experience, with office attendance required approximately twice a week.
Key responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-inspections for responsive repairs and void works, and managing a designated patch in the North East.
Candidates should possess building surveying experience in a residential environment, preferably in social housing, along with experience in managing responsive repairs and void works.
A minimum HNC/HND building surveying qualification or an equivalent qualification in a building-related discipline is required for this position.

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Maintenance Surveyor for a North East based Housing Association on a permanent basis. The salary for the role is £38,000 - £42,000 subject to experience, and office attendance is required roughly twice per week.

The role:

Carry out pre- and post-inspections for responsive repairs and void works, managing a patch in the North East
Contract manage the progress of works against schedules
Work closely with in-house trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered cost-effectively and to high quality
Manage any disrepair cases raised

What you need:

Building Surveying experience within a residential environment, ideally social housing
Experience managing responsive repairs and void works
Minimum HNC/HND building surveying qualification or equivalent qualification in a building related discipline
