At Job&Talent, we are looking for a physically fit part time Van Driver to work for our established client in Newcastle and help organize their fleet of e-scooters
Shift Patterns:
Part Time - 24h a week - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am-2pm
Possibility of additional shifts during peak period or cover
Pay Rates:
£12.44/h-£13.71/h
As an Van Driver, you will need to have:
- Proven work experience driving a 3.5t van profesionally
- Clean driving licence with no infractions
- Good communicator with the ability to follow instructions.
- Effective time-management skills.
- Comfort to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with using smartphone and apps (own a smartphone from 2018 or newer)
- Good level of fitness and ability to pick up and move heavy electric vehicles
- Availability and flexibility to work weekends and additional hours during peak times
Role of an Van Driver:
- Drive to specified zones and replace batteries on low charge e-scooters
- Ensuring the timely deployment of scooters at designated stations to support the consumer demand
- Performing all other ad-hoc & device-related tasks assigned through the central communications platform
