Executive head chef required for a Hotel with a rosette restaurant within driving distance of North East, this Hotel has a good quality food offering and looking for a exec head chef to run the kitchen team, head chef upto £50k basic plus tips/service of around £4-5k. If you are relocating to the area, they can offer short term live in.This executive head chef role is a hands on role, it is not office based, it is hands on.
This role is really exciting, as you will push the food standards to the next level, they want a chef who can really push the food and design menus for the restaurant, afternoon teas and weddings.

The role
As a Executive head chef you will run the kitchen, THIS IS A HANDS ON ROLE, you will work with suppliers to ensure the right produce is produce, you will develop your team of chefs and kitchen porters and ensure everything runs smoothly. in service you will run a section and jump on sections where needed. This role will include all the Executive head chef duties


Experience
we are looking for a executive head chef from a rosette and fresh food background. you will be organised and able to run the kitchen. You will be a head chef for at least 2-3 years and worked in a kitchen as head chef whilst the rosette inspectors had been out to review the food.
