The Opportunity
A well-established, forward-thinking consultancy is looking for a Building Regulations Consultant to join their Newcastle team. This is a key hire, created to support the delivery of a wide portfolio of complex projects across the UK.
Their work spans commercial, residential, education, government, heritage and leisure schemes, including several high-rise developments nationwide. While many of their projects are London based, this role is fully Newcastle based. Travel is minimal and site visits are only required occasionally.
What You Will Be Doing
You will join a structured, collaborative team of around fifteen, including four experienced Principal Designers. Working closely with senior staff, you will help guide projects through the Gateway 2 process, with full training and support where needed. Over time, you will take the lead on major developments valued from 20M upwards.

About You
You will ideally have experience in Building Regulations, Building Control or a related discipline, with a good understanding of compliance, design and safety. A proactive approach and strong communication skills will help you thrive in this role.
