Elvet Recruitment are working closely with a Client that, due to their success', is looking to expand their team. As this company continues to grow, they are looking for someone to progress within the business.
This company has a solid reputation for delivering bespoke services across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham. They specialise in modern high- end extensions, refurbishments and new builds and therefore are looking for someone who has experience in delivering similar, one off projects.
As this client started as a Joinery company a similar background is preferred. Although they have now progressed to work on to bespoke properties, they also have a workshop as part of the business in which they manufacture their own worktops and cabinets as part of the projects.
Main duties will include:
Ensuring the quality of work is completed to the highest of standards following the job specification, managing and reporting any issues or setbacks
Oversea and manage labourers and subcontractors on site
Conducting safety checks on site
Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients.
To be considered, applicants must have:
Experience working hands-on on similar oneoff, bespoke projects
Experience leading small site teams
Ability to maintain Health & Safety standards
Ability to motivate and manage a successful site team.
A CSCS Site Manager card and SSSTS qualification
