About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactiveContract Managerto join our team and take ownership of managing contracts across a range of projects in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, negotiation, and compliance within construction, engineering, facilities management, or a similar sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full contract lifecycle from tender to completion, including negotiation, drafting, execution, and closeout.

Ensure contractual obligations and deliverables are clearly understood and met by all parties.

Serve as the key point of contact for all contractual matters related to projects.

Review and negotiate terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Monitor performance and ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, changes, and correspondence.

Collaborate closely with project managers, legal advisors, finance teams, and operational staff.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar role.

Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities across various locations.

High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software.

Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel locally as required.
