JDI Legal are currently working with a Legal 500 firm in Newcastle who operate from modern and impressive offices and looking to add a further fee earner - CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer, experienced Paralegal or Solicitor to their 10+ strong team which is led by a talented lawyer with over 25 years experience in the industry who is extremely relatable and approachable manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented conveyancer to join a secure and supportive conveyancing team and inherit their own transactional matters. A department that has excellent staff retention and a team I receive nothing but positive feedback on.

This is a growth role and applications are encouraged from all levels of qualification but candidates MUST have a residential conveyancing background of 2 years or more and have a proven track record of running their own matters Sales, Purchases, New Build, Transfer of Equity and Remortgage from start to post completion. The firm have the added benefit of support within the team and a slick case management system to advance each transaction so IT literacy is essential.

The caseload size will depend on the individual and their experience but realistically anything from 50-90 matters.

A competitive salary will be offered, a performance bonus, a 9-5pm working culture and a relaxed albeit busy office. Hybrid working can be available once probation is completed which is pretty rare for conveyancing positions.
