Blue-chip backgrounded, dynamic and ambitious, they’ve successfully scaled and exited a highly innovative Data & AI SME, with their new, growing company now fuelling clients to scale and growing their businesses, translating complex requirements into impactful business strategies and workable technical solutions. Catalyst is now looking to assist in appointing a Data & AI Engineer to work on a range of cutting-edge projects, harnessing the power of Data & AI to drive exceptional value.
As Data & AI Engineer, you will directly influence client success and growth via key responsibilities, including:
- Designing, developing and deploying machine learning models
- Creating scalable AI solutions
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Transforming data into actionable insights designed to drive business growth
As Data & AI Engineer, you will need:
- Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer or Data & AI Engineer with a passion for designing & developing production-ready applications using AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience using python and SQL
- The ability to build AI-driven solutions using large language models (LLMs), and techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based approaches, supported by frameworks like LangChain and CrewAI
- Skills in leveraging AI model APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) and rapid prototyping tools such as Streamlit, along with AI-native developer tools like Cursor, to bring ideas to life quickly
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar
- The ability to lead client demos and presentations
- Both technical competence and commercial awareness
Salary & benefits:
- £45 - 100k (dependent on experience)
