Nursery - Early Yar's Practitioner

Here at Reed, we are supporting a Nursery in NE15 who are looking for a part time Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team for 30+ hours per week.

The role requires the ideal candidate to be able to plan and deliver exciting and engaging activities that match the nursery's ethos, as well as being able to work and collaborate well within the team. You will keep a record of progress to share with families and build and maintain relationships with parents and families. The nursery is proud of their parent partnerships and offer regular stay and play sessions that keep all families involved in their children's learning journey.

You must be able to get involved in all messy play, sing endless amounts of nursery rhymes, and not be afraid to get dressed up!

This special Nursery adopts a home from home feel and aims to provide a calm and nurturing environment where children can endlessly explore and ignite their curiosity!

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in early years settings.
  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
  • Knowledge of childcare practices and early years development
  • Relevant certifications in early years education or childcare
