Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

A growing global MEP design consultancy is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in the North East region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a number of secured, technically-challenging projects.

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful preparation and delivery of project objectives, providing essential technical support. You will collaborate with senior colleagues and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery for clients.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the team to ensure successful preparation and delivery of project objectives, including providing technical support.
Work with other senior engineers and less senior positions to ensure quality and timely operation delivery for clients.
Compile specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents, maintaining the required technical quality of work and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
Deliver elements and components of projects from concept design through to completion, executing Building Services Engineering activities within budget and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.
Provide Electrical Building Services Engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
Identify scope and scheduling changes in accordance with the change control process, maintaining planning and cost control on all scope.
