Our client is looking for a talented and experiencedSenior Engineerto take technical ownership of complex offshore engineering projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering technically challenging scopes across the full project lifecycle.

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing and assessing the lifecycle performance of critical offshore product systems. You will collaborate closely with various disciplines including Structural, Project Management, R&D, and Process teams to ensure engineering solutions meet internal standards, international regulations, and client requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical authority-level support throughout the full project lifecycle, from strategy development to close-out.
  • Support project kick-offs by guiding technical strategy and identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Lead the resolution of technical non-conformances and project-specific concessions.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and approval of engineering assessments and cross-sectional designs.
  • Manage and coordinate improvements across the team, including implementation of advanced engineering tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Mentor engineers at all levels and contribute to professional development across the team.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and promote continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with department leads.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions between pre-award and post-award project phases.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Subsea, or related Engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in offshore or subsea engineering
  • Proficient with OrcaFlex or similar engineering tools
  • Proven ability to deliver within tight project deadlines
  • Strong independent working capability and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Experience with MathCAD, AutoCAD, Inventor
  • Familiarity with FEA tools such as Ansys or Abaqus
  • Experience in lean engineering or continuous improvement methodologies
