We are working with a leading construction business in Newcastle who have an opening for a Senior Admin Assistant to join them in a permanent position.
This role will provide essential administrative support to the rest of the business to ensure smooth daily operations. You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining high-quality service and efficiency across the business. They will be on hand to help other members of the admin team and report directly to the Financial Controller.
- Handling phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
- Raising jobs, purchase orders and work orders
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding purchase orders and work orders
- Scheduling and monitoring labour resources to jobs through our job management system
- Communicating with our labour force, suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring and maintain office supplies and consumables
- Managing the maintenance of the company’s transportation
- First point of contact for visitors and maintaining the signing in and out of office records
- Managing meeting room bookings and arranging refreshments when required
- Taking minutes in meetings and supporting the Management Team with administrative tasks
- Monitoring site related stock levels, ordering when required and carrying out stock takes
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Monitoring the vetting matrix
- Working alongside Senior Accounts Assistant you will assist with the ongoing project of producing company policies and procedures for the Management Team.
Salary
£27,500 - £30,000 - 39.5 hrs per week - 7.30-16.30 Mon-Thu & 7.30-16.00 Fri with 1hr break per day) - Please note this is an office based role.
