Northumberland Golf Club, Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
We are looking for chefs of all levels to join an expanding team.
You will support the Head Chef & House Manager in the delivery of a first-class food & beverage experience at a prestigious golf club.
Your principal responsibilities will include:
1.Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, as and when required
2.Approve and polish dishes before they reach the customer
3.Ordering of products from authorised suppliers
4.Stock control
5.Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations
The person we are looking for will:
1.Be passionate about their food
2.Enjoy working as part of a team
3.Have the ability to plan and prepare meals which are in keeping with special dietary requirements
4.Have the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene within the kitchen
Qualifications
You could be qualified by experience or have one of the following:
Food/hygiene certificate
City and Guilds 706 1&2
We offer excellent training and development opportunities.
The incumbent would be expected to work on a rota basis, with the rota including some evening work, some weekends and some bank holidays.
