About the Role
As a labourer on a large commercial site, you'll be an essential part of the team, supporting various trades and ensuring the smooth operation of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians) with their tasks.
- Moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently around the site.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment by clearing debris, waste, and keeping designated areas organized.
- Operating hand and power tools as directed (where competent and certified).
- Adhering strictly to all site health and safety regulations and company policies.
- General site duties as required to support the project's progress.
Required Skills
We need someone who is:
- Experienced in general labouring roles.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Is physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
- Able to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
