Milk Education are currently working with Secondary schools throughout Northumberland and North Tyneside, who are looking to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. You will be working with students that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress.
You will have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full-class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.
We are looking for aspiring educators who have graduated in any of the following categories;
Maths
English
Science
Languages
Art and Design
Psychology or Social Sciences
Sport & Physical Activity

* Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
* Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
