Morning SEND Teaching Assistant (Reception 1:1) – North Tyneside
Salary: £222.30 – £237.50 per week (based on mornings only)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

We’re looking for a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Reception at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Tyneside. Your Role as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
In this role, you'll work 1:1 with a Reception-aged pupil, offering tailored support that helps them feel safe, engaged, and confident during their school morning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support for a Reception-aged pupil with SEND

  • Follow and implement tailored learning plans and activities

  • Encourage communication, social interaction, and independence

  • Create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment

  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to meet the child’s needs
