Day-to-Day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Sociology, Criminology, and Psychology, ensuring content is accessible, inclusive and aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Support and assess learners through feedback, tutorials, and progress tracking, helping them achieve academic and personal development goals.
  • Contribute to a safe and positive learning environment, upholding safeguarding practices, promoting equality, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the student experience.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent).
  • Degree (or equivalent) in relevant Subject.
  • Experience delivering high quality lessons to 16-18-year-olds in Further Education.
  • Safeguarding knowledge and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage well with learners.
  • Current Clear & Enhanced DBS on the update service (Beneficial)
