SummaryTide Partnership are excited to be partnering with a respected provider of specialist care and education services to recruit a HR Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and relationship-driven Human Resources professional to support operational teams with employee relations casework, HR administration, and people management coaching. Based near Newcastle, the Regional HR Advisor will work closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver a high-quality, consistent HR service across multiple sites, promoting positive people practices and supporting organisational growth.

The RoleAs a HR Advisor, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance concerns.
  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers in line with UK employment law and internal HR policies.
  • Support and coach managers to improve confidence and consistency in handling HR matters.
  • Maintain accurate HR case records and employee files.
  • Draft formal letters, compile disciplinary and investigation packs, and ensure all HR documentation is legally compliant.
  • Attend HR and operational meetings, providing professional HR guidance and note-taking support.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusive practices throughout the organisation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve complex ER issues effectively.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a busy HR Advisor or similar Human Resources role.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Confident managing a variety of employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working within childcare, education, social care, or other regulated sectors.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (such as iTrent).
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards).
  • Strong formal note-taking skills during HR processes.
