The Opportunity

Remote (UK-based) Up to £80k DOE Full-time - AI Innovation My client—a global tech-led localisation business—is investing heavily in innovation, with a newly appointed CEO and VP of Product driving transformation from the top down. As part of this growth, they’re launching a dedicated AI Lab focused on cutting-edge automation and smart solutions in the localisation space.

They’re now hiring a Product Manager to lead this new function—working at the forefront of AI, machine learning, and generative tools to reimagine how global content gets translated, reviewed, and delivered.

This role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced, exploratory environments—where testing, iteration, and smart decision-making drive value. You’ll take ownership of AI initiatives from the ground up, working alongside experts in translation science, ML engineering, and linguistics.What will you be doing:
  • Defining and leading the strategy for the AI Automation Lab

  • Scoping and delivering AI tools to automate localisation workflows (e.g. quality estimation, post-editing, GenAI content generation)

  • Making key “build vs. buy” decisions with structured evaluations

  • Rapidly prototyping new tools and testing them in live workflows

  • Collaborating across product, engineering, and linguist teams to ensure delivery

  • Measuring impact across cost, quality, and delivery time

What are they looking for:
  • Strong background in AI, machine learning, or natural language technologies

  • Experience managing AI/tech-driven product initiatives, ideally in a fast-moving environment

  • Comfortable working closely with technical teams without needing to code

  • Analytical mindset—able to make data-led decisions and evaluate tools effectively
