An established UK supplier of print machinery used to produce vehicle number plates is looking to recruit a Regional Field Support Engineer to cover the North of England and into Scotland.

This is a fully remote, field-based role involving extensive regional travel, offering a high level of autonomy. It’s well suited to someone who is organised, self-motivated, and confident managing their own workload while delivering excellent customer service.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting customers on-site with the installation, maintenance, training, and fault resolution of number plate printing machinery and associated software systems. The equipment is not highly complex, but the role requires someone who is computer literate, methodical, and comfortable working independently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Covering a large regional patch across the North of England and Scotland
• Installing, maintaining, and supporting number plate printing machinery and software
• Managing your own diary and customer visit schedule
• Responding to reactive service calls and resolving issues efficiently
• Delivering customer training and ongoing technical support
• Accurately completing service reports and updating internal systems
• Building strong, professional relationships with customers
• Representing the business positively and professionally at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a full UK driving licence (ideally clean) and be comfortable with regular travel
• Be highly organised, efficient, and self-sufficient
• Thrive in a remote, field-based role with minimal supervision
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Be confident using computer systems and software
• Take pride in your reliability, presentation, and professionalism

Previous experience in a field-based support, service, or technical role would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
