Applications Support ManagerNewcastle (2 days onsite)£500 to £600 day rate, inside IR35

Your new roleIn your new role, you will be supporting and working with the team to provide second and third-line support, whilst providing resolution for incidents and problems within an ITIL framework. You will be owning, escalating and managing incidents within the team and with supplier and internal teams, whilst providing an internal escalation point for application issues.

You will be assessing, changing, and establishing the best practices within the team's support process, whilst monitoring and maintaining data processing and data feeds between systems. You will also be monitoring and reporting on team and system performance feeding into capacity planning and application development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in managing, supporting and maintaining enterprise applications
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving & delivery skills
  • Excellent track record of people and team management, preferably including 2nd and 3rd liners
  • The ability to learn and support current and new systems quickly and effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
