The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient picking and issuing of parts and stock, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to the smooth operation of the stores department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Picking: Accurately pick parts and stock as per issued orders or requests.
  • Stock Issuance: Sign parts and stock out of inventory and update relevant records.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and report on stock levels to avoid shortages.
  • Stock Management: Organise and maintain the storage area to ensure items are easily accessible and inventory counts are accurate.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure stock requirements are met efficiently.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic IT skills for inventory and stock management systems.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
