If so, we want to hear from you!A leading North East firm with offices in Newcastle city centre and Wallsend, currently expanding their dynamic Safeguarding Child Care Team. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Provide clear, compassionate, and comprehensive legal advice across a varied caseload of public and private children matters
  • Represent clients in non-molestation and injunction applications
  • Handle advocacy at all levels, from Magistrates to Circuit Courts
  • Guide clients through PLO processes and social services meetings
  • Work directly with clients, supporting them during often emotionally challenging circumstances
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the team’s marketing and business development
What We’re Looking For: We’re open to applications from qualified solicitors or experienced fee earners who can demonstrate:
  • Experience in children law, both public and private
  • Confidence in independent caseload management
  • A commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and high client service standards
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong advocacy skills and excellent written/oral communication
  • Proficiency in case management systems and legal IT platforms
  • A genuine passion for helping vulnerable families and children
  • A desire to engage in ongoing learning, development, and supervision
