We are seeking a Research Analyst to develop and deliver analytic content with a focus on primary research methods, particularly within a major national patient experience survey programme. This role is crucial in supporting the development and delivery of survey programmes that meet the evolving needs of stakeholders and contribute to the improvement of patient care.

This team produce high impact research and we’re looking for somebody who posses the below to join:

  • Survey design: this will be your bread and butter, you’ll bring experience of effective survey design and have a passion for driving best practice
  • Analysis: you’ll be comfortable using SPSS & Excel to drive analysis, to produce best in class reporting
  • Communication and collaboration: you will be a natural communicator and be able to collaborate with different stakeholders and teams across the business

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Undertake primary research including defining scope, methodology, analysis, and outputs.
  • Support the patient experience survey programme, ensuring alignment with the needs of the regulatory body, the public, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and research partners, including commercial contractors, to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analyse primary research data and other sources to extract relevant information, presenting it in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Create various outputs such as internal or external reports, research development plans, survey designs, and methodology reports.
  • Manage specific research and analysis projects, ensuring timely delivery of required outputs.
  • Integrate data and insights into the Enterprise Data Platform and ensure proper documentation for organisational use.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of outputs.
  • Select optimal data, tools, and methods to deliver necessary insights.
  • Design and conduct quality control and assurance processes for analytical products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong research, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in survey research methods and experienced in all stages of the survey process.
  • Skilled in the application of statistical packages for data analysis.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Good decision-making skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Ability to identify problems and resolve or escalate them appropriately.
  • Proven ability to tailor communication of insights in compelling ways for varied audiences.
