We are currently seeking an experienced EHC Plan Writer to join a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team on a remote basis. This role requires a professional with substantial experience in crafting high-quality, robust Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, concise, and legally compliant EHCPs that reflect the child or young person's needs, outcomes, and provision.

  • Work collaboratively with SEND professionals, families, and education settings to gather and interpret relevant reports and information.

  • Ensure all plans adhere to current legislation, statutory guidance, and local authority standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working within a local authority SEND team.

  • Demonstrable track record of writing good quality EHCPs.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and written communication skills.

  • A detailed understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

Desirable:

  • Experience as a SEND Caseworker - if applicable, the rate is open to negotiation based on skills and expertise.

Working Arrangement:
