BASIC SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
 
BENEFITS:
 
· 37.5 hours per week minimum. Normal working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday. 7.30am to 2.45pm Friday.
· Overtime paid at 1.5 times during weekdays, and 2 times (double) at weekends.
· Annual Financial Bonus (could be in the region of 10-15%).

LOCATION: Northern or Midlands-based (possibly living around Durham, Yorkshire, Derbyshire or the Midlands), with regional and national travel as required (up to 5 days on the road per week).
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: York, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Mansfield, Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Derby, Stoke, Wolverhampton, Leicester.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician - Industrial Capital Equipment
You will join an established and experienced tight-knit team; your first 6 months will be spent training, learning on the job, and shadowing a colleague until you are competent and ready to work solo.
A general Induction into the company and systems will be followed by tailored full in-depth product training in the UK, to ensure a full appreciation of Manufacturing Processes, Industrial Applications and Capabilities.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician - Industrial Capital Equipment
Your job will include:
· A mixture of planned installations start-ups, and commissioning (50% of job)
· Proactive and reactive maintenance & repair work, technical troubleshooting, etc.
· Providing technical product training on customers' premises (both OEMs and End Users).
· Use of Forklift Truck and Access Platforms as required (training provided).
· Managing a diverse workload.
· Building seamless long-term relationships with our customers, both externally and internally.
· Keeping accurate records and creating reports.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician - Industrial Capital Equipment
To be successful in your application, you will preferably have some experience of working within a Maintenance or Engineering role, within capital equipment (or similar). We will also consider applications with less experienced talent who might have technical capacity at apprentice level coupled with the willingness to train and learn. As a minimum requirement you will be able to demonstrate:
· An aptitude for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
· Full driving licence, passport, and flexible to conduct overnight stays in the UK, and deliver technical service & training within Europe (or occasionally, Asia).
· Positive, confident and industrious, with a flexible and adaptable style.
· Personally driven to build a solid career.
