The MissionThis organisation are driven to achieve their A-IRB waiver. Alongside this, you will be working within the intelligence team who leverage big data technology to maximise returns from data assets. This is achieved through providing MI, exploratory analysis & predictive models. As a result, strategies are shaped in pricing, marketing, product development and credit risk. Your work really does underpin a huge part of how this business runs.

The RoleIn this position, you will support the initiatives within the regulatory and compliance space within risk; IRB, forecasting & stress testing. You will provide support and guidance to a team of credit risk modellers and support the excellent work they do. We’re not looking for a perfect technical fit, this client are big tech agnostic believers. We’re looking for skills and experience within IRB, to help this client on their journey.

Below is a list of some of the skills and experience that we’re looking for. IRB experience is absolutely essential and non-negotiable:- Experience of modelling techniques: collaborative filtering, support vector machines, neural networks etc.- Experience of data analysis tools: SQL, R, Python, SAS or similar- Strong communication skills: especially when talking to non-technical stakeholders- Self-starting approach to work with excellent time management skills
