Job Description:
As Production Manager, you will take ownership of a key production area, driving performance across quality, cost, and delivery. You will lead a team, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while embedding lean manufacturing principles. This is both a technical and managerial role where you will play a key part in shaping the future of production operations.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the production area with full cost-centre responsibility.

Setting and delivering against production KPIs.

Leading continuous improvement and lean transformation initiatives.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Driving workforce planning, training, and development.

Coordinating across functions to ensure smooth production flow.
Skills & Experience:

Degree in science, engineering, materials, or manufacturing (or equivalent experience).
- Technical knowledge or an Engineering background is desirable.

Strong knowledge of EHS (IOSH Managing Safely, or willingness to complete).

Experience with lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.

Proven track record in leading teams and improvement workshops.

Familiarity with production planning and scheduling.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Excellent leadership, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
