Job Title: IT Lecturer Location: North East Type: Temporary - Full Time Rate: £26 - £35 per hour Eden Brown are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Lecturer for a Further Education College in the North East. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Level 3 Technical IT programmes, helping learners gain the skills they need for careers in a rapidly evolving industry. This is a temporary full time role, 37 hours a week to start asap until mid to late June. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of L3 IT units, including: * Web Development * Networking & Cybersecurity * Project Management * Programming (e.g. Python, Java, or C#) - Design and assess course materials to meet curriculum requirements and industry standards. - Support and guide students through their academic journey, providing constructive feedback and individualised support. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and stay up to date with current industry trends and technologies. Essential Requirements: - Relevant degree or professional qualifications in IT or Computer Science. - Teaching qualification (if have teaching experience without this, can be considered still) - Experience delivering IT subjects at Level 3 or above. - Strong knowledge of current industry tools and technologies in areas such as networking, programming, and web development. - Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience in a Further Education setting.
