Job Title: Compliance AdministratorLocation: Newcastle city centre (Hybrid working available after probation)Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)
Required Skills:
- Experience in compliance, CDD, or similar roles would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with legal professionals.
- Proficient in IT and case management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail and research skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open new clients and matters in the case management system (Liberate).
- Monitor and manage the team’s shared mailbox.
- Perform customer due diligence (CDD) checks using electronic tools.
- Research clients using public sources like Companies House.
- Communicate with team members to ensure AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance.
- Run sanctions and conflict checks.
- Review client information and risk assessments during the file-opening process.
- Assist with ad hoc compliance projects.
- Escalate issues as needed to the Compliance Officer or senior staff.
